What is makima hand signs?

Makima is a fictional character from the manga and anime series "Chainsaw Man". She is a control devil hunter who uses unique hand signs to control and manipulate devils. These hand signs are drawn from real-life hand signs used in Japanese culture.

There are three main Makima hand signs:

  1. The "Seika" (正火) hand sign, which means "righteous fire". It is used to control fire-based devils, and is drawn by making a fist with the thumb and index finger extended.

  2. The "Fujo" (不浄) hand sign, which means "impure". It is used to control dark and evil devils, and is drawn by making a triangle with the hands, with the thumbs and index fingers touching.

  3. The "Engo" (炎護) hand sign, which means "flame protection". It is used to protect oneself from fire and heat-based attacks, and is drawn by crossing the arms in front of the chest with the hands open.

Makima is able to use these hand signs with great skill and precision, allowing her to easily overpower even the strongest devils.
